Breakout is an autobiography comic-zine about Alessa's long-term struggle with cystic acne. 

This zine shares the many trials and tribulations of coping with acne, from the confusion around finding effective treatment options to the frustration and impact on one's self-esteem resulting from persistent breakouts.
